Valley Mental Health Foundation is pleased to announce the establishment of the Dr. Brent Petersen Scholarship Fund. This fund has been created to honor Dr. Petersen for his 35 years of dedicated service to children and their families served through Valley Mental Health at the Carmen B. Pingree Center for Children with Autism.
Monies donated to Dr. Brent Petersen Scholarship Fund will support annual scholarships granted to children at the Pingree Center. On average, each year the Pingree Center provides significant tuition support for the 170 children and their families. To make your contribution to the Dr. Brent Petersen Scholarship Fund, please send your check made payable to Valley Foundation, 4460 S. Highland Drive, Suite 300, Salt Lake City, Utah 84124, please note that it is for Dr. Brent Petersen Scholarship Fund. In addition to general donations, the Pingree Center is creating a memory wall beginning with a plaque dedicated to Dr. Petersen. If you would like to purchase a tile to be placed inside the Center please see the attached information. Funds from the sale of personalized tiles will support the Dr. Brent Petersen Scholarship Fund.
